The Adventure

Mapa Mundi was born to create visuals that move people — inspire, surprise, and stay with them.

Founded by Monika Bucmyte and Gonzalo Martín — a designer and a strategist — the studio grew out of a shared passion for illustration, storytelling, and meaningful communication. What began with artistic maps soon expanded into a broader vision: to use illustration as a tool for connection.

We believe that great design is not just decoration — it’s a language. One that can turn a place into a memory, an idea into an emotion, and a brand into an experience.
